Every realtor needs a solid CRM system to help them efficiently manage all their dealings. These are great tools that optimize the real estate process by keeping the realtors organized, and helping them close those deals. The problem is there are many good real estate CRMs in the market today, and it has become very difficult for people to differentiate and choose between them, especially since they offer a variety of features.
LionDesk is one of the most popular CRM systems because of its amazing price point. It does everything you want it to and more while being easy on the pocket. Top Producer on the other hand has been the go-to for most people. It has been around for a long time has developed some great features over the year making it one of the best real-estate CRMs out there today.
So for people who are confused between the two, we have put them head to head to help you find out the tool that will fix all your problems!
Pricing
LionDesk:
One of LionDesk’s biggest selling points is its affordable price range. The best part is that just because the price is low, doesn’t mean it is lacking in any way. With the features it provides, LionDesk provides you with great value for the money. LionDesk has 3 categories, the starter, pro plus, and elite. The prices per month for each of these are $25, $49, and $99 per month respectively. But for most people, the basic $25 is more than enough.
Top Producer:
Like Liondesk, Top Producer also comes in three different packages namely, the Starter, Professional and Advanced. These are priced at $40, $70, $80 respectively. Now if you compare the starting price, which is the most relevant since most people opt for the starter packages, then you can immediately see that there is a significant difference in the prices, LionDesk’s being $25 and Top Producer, $40. Now Top Producer does offer some amazing features, but are they enough to charge a $15 premium per month over LionDesk? Let’s find out.
Features
Let’s quickly dive into what we are actually here for. What are the features that both these great CRM systems offer? After all these features are what separate the good ones from the great ones. Now there are many features to both of these and we don’t need to get into all of those, so for your ease, we have highlighted the best ones for you in this section.
LionDesk
Ease of use
One of the best things that LionDesk has going for it is how easy it is to use. The dashboard they show as soon as you log in shows you all the necessary information in a very convenient way. You can with a glance, check the state of your outreach, since it is showing you all the details of the outreach that you have done (emails, texts, etc.). Another thing they show you is how many leads you have contacted today. Now that is personally a very motivating feature since that pushes you to contact more and more leads. The quick and easy visuals help you easily manage all your activities and goals set and give you a very smooth experience.
Outreach!
The outreach on LionDesk is pretty simple. You can very easily call, text, or send emails to individuals. You can very easily set instructions to send specific messages for leads coming from different sources. Bulk emails are very easy to send and you can also conveniently send video messages through the emails without the help of any third-party software. You can directly capture and send videos in emails and through texts and the best part is, they have an amazing open rate of about 95%. So you know for a fact that people will be interacting with the messages you put out.
Drip Campaigns
The Drip campaign is one of my favorite features from LionDesk. These completely automate your marketing strategy by allowing you to set up plans that efficiently target your customers. You can set up timelines and prompts telling you when to post a video or send a text, or an email. You can also choose what campaign to apply to what customers. They also have crowdsourced blended campaigns for starters. These are tried and tested and allow you to interact with your leads through video which makes for a very effective marketing campaign.
Text 2 Sell
This is another great feature from LionDesk. This allows the customers needing more information about a listing, they can directly send you a text. The Lion\\Desk algorithm will then automatically send them the file that they are looking for. For example, if a customer texts you about a buyer’s guide, Lion desk will automatically send them one!
Top Producer
Action Plans
Top Producer comes with a great library of templates and action plans to choose from. You can choose the ones that you like to make the most effective emails and plans. Furthermore, they also offer templates for physical marketing such as fliers and post mail.
Market Snapshot
Market Snapshot is probably why you will want to pay that extra $15 per month for Top Producer. Through automated email marketing you can create and dispatch the most engaging content to your leads. You can also see what your contacts are viewing and so you can make changes based on the information you gather. The MLS reports provide alerts for price reductions and new listings etc. allowing you to engage more meaningfully with your leads. This also gives information about all the different communities and areas by providing pictures and school reports. This way potential customers can make their best decisions!
FiveStreet
Fivestreet is a feature that you can get with the advanced subscription. This is the most essential feature to have especially if you are working in teams. This is a lead generating tool and it broadcasts new leads to your team. It sends notifications whenever someone from your team captures that lead. This also sends automatic messages to the new team. The best part of Fivestreet is the analytics it provides. It gives you property and social media details about your leads so that you can effectively market to them. This tool also highlights the most effective lead sources and geographical areas.
The Cons
LionDesk
LionDesk for its price range offers a variety of features but it does not really stand out in one specific thing. Some users have faced an issue of too much information making a clutter, that harms the user experience. LionDesk also is primarily a lead generator but does not help maintain those relationships after a contract has been signed.
Top Producer
One of the drawbacks of Top Producers is that it may seem outdated. For starters, it does not have a lot of options for website design. It also does not offer a mobile app which should be essential in the 21st century. It’s interface looks ancient and dated. Some people also complain that Top producer makes them sign a long 12-month contract to get started and not everyone will be comfortable making a huge commitment.
Bottom Line:
Both of these CRM systems are top of the line and both of these will help you improve your numbers by a lot. We found Top Producer more professional with features like market snapshot. If you have a team, then Top Producer’s FiveStreet can prove to be a game changer for you. If you are going solo or just starting out then LionDesk can meet all your needs. LionDesk is also easy on the pocket so you can easily try these both out before making a long term commitment.
